Even though I really haven't experimented with offline advertising yet, here is some things I have known people to do:
- Write the website on money (I believe this is techincally illegal, but I mean, there really isn't a way to find out who wrote the website address on the one dollar bill, now is there?)
- Write the website on a dusty window (Bus windows for example)
- Say the website in a song. I've known people to record their own music before and say various web site addresses in their song.
- I have known people do the the library book option, but not limiting library books. Magazines and newspapers as well.
- If you have a video game website, rent the video game from Blockbuster or some other place and get the book. Put a piece of paper with your website in the booklet.
- Lastly, public restrooms such found in restaurants and schools. It seems putting your website near a sink or in a stall can get the address advertised to a lot of people.
Some of these ideas just seem crazy, but they don't cost anything to do.
