POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS: OSCAR, PRIVATE (FRANCIS PIKE- DAD's ARMY)
NOTES: This is the first clue to come out that seemed to have had more than one plausible answer, reason being that 'a predatory fish' and 'earnest' could have different, yet in one way binding, interpretation. This would be the trend in the forthcoming clues as well! Possible interpretations were Ernest Hemingway (author of 'Old man and the sea'), Oscar (A predatory fish), Importance of being earnest (by 'Oscar' Wilde), Francis Pike (Pike is a predatory fish, and the character Francis Pike is from Dad's army which was to be become apossible theme later) I have to say that 'Oscar Wilde' seems a probable link which may also relate to a movie theme (Oscar award?)
