Default Clue 49 - The pigeon, the coot and the martin.

One possibkle solution (Thanks Wombat http://www.smoothblog.co.uk/2009/08/...nd-the-martin/)

These birds are yardbirds. The group, The Yardbirds, included the guitarist Jeff BECK when they embarked on their US tour.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Yardbirds
“With Beck, the Yardbirds embarked on their first US tour in late August, 1965. There were three more US tours during Beck’s time with the group. A brief European tour took place in April, 1966. Beck was voted #1 lead guitarist of 1966 in the British music magazine Beat Instrumental, and his work during this period influenced musicians such as Jimi Hendrix. His tenure with the Yardbirds is viewed by many as the group’s ‘golden era’.”

JEFF BECK was seen in a previous clue.
