Thanks Bassborg (Whirlpool) for the following - Further checking, the threee 'birds' are Col. Brunswick (Walter Pigeon), Maj. Mercer (Robert Coote), and Cavalryman (Harry Martin). So the three are Major, Cavalryman and Colonel. So the third could be related to this. Could be Class, Rank, Grade etc May be school theme plays a role here
