I dont use it ... sorry if this is off topic
But i recommend firefox

Firefox has a super-small installation (4.7MB), tabbed browsing, multiple shortcut features, integrating pop-up ad blocking, integrated Google search, large viewing area, compatibility with IE shortcuts/ favorites/cookies, clean interface, very user friendly design, and no glaring security holes.

Sorry, I don't use IE anymore.
But it's good for them to improve its security options.
I use Opera and Firefox now. I have no complaints of them.

I'm not convinced IE is safe yet :P

I prefer Firefox, with tabbed browsing and more efficient popup blocking.

I use the IE7 beta 2 as standalone to do bugfixing and stuff. The ie7 rendering engine is a huuuuuuge improvement from 6 so I'm very happy with it.

Being an advocate of webstandards, most people think I would be a firefox user, but I always disliked firefox, I use it for development only.

I don't like firefox because;
-it uses clumsy tabbed browsing
-it renders webpages slowly
-it uses waaay more memory then other browsers

My browser of choice has always been Avant Browser, wich I like because
-it uses ie rendering engine, so I have no problems logging into my back accoung and stuff
-it's the fastest browser (it beat Opera in speed pretty recently)
-it has incredibly ergonomic tabbed browsing functionality, wich has evolved over many years
-it has many tools that you can use to streamline your browsing behaviour, such as url aliases, mouse movement commands, better favorites management, really to much stuff to name.

IE 7, I don't like it. I wish to downgrade but I dont think I can, when I downloaded it, it updated most of the things on my computer, not just a simple browser.

I like firefox better, seriously. Way faster too

Default Yeah

Yeah, the downgrade is what made me mad. I was ok with it having bugs, and I usually don't use it because I prefer opera, So I was ok with that at first. I just stopped using it competely. Then I began taking a course online that only supported IE 6. I have it installed on another computer, but it's still annoying that I Can't use my laptop to take my class online.

The errors are all related to the way they changed Javascript in 7. That's an area that still needs a lot of attention In My Opinion.

I guess that's a little off the point though. It's not that things are that wrong anyway. Javascript is just messed up like that, not being uniform between browsers.
