i request help on this topic: MSN, Google and Yahoo Directory currently ignore on of my clients website. None of the other search engines seems to have trouble.

The index.html is already in the three above. From there on, a cms is called through a frameset looking like this:

frame top= /cgi-bin/cms.pl?template=start
frame bottom= /cgi-bin/cms.pl?template=foot

These two pages are searchable as well (along with index.html) in Google, MSN and Yahoo, but none of the following pages.

So, i have a total of three pages , while some hundred are waiting since november 2002. The sites deeplinks look like this:

<a href = /cgi-bin/cms.pl?template=article //for categories
<a href = /cgi-bin/cms.pl?template=article&id=1234 //for articles

I used webmasterplan.de with their "this is how your site looks to engines" tool and found out that this tool requires "=" to be replaced by "%3d" (ascii opcode for equal signs). is this the same for google and company ?

If you normally get prompted like that, what it generally means is the folder or file itself doesn't have IUSER (web server) permissions, and so IE is asking you to enter a username/pw that does have appropriate rights/permissions for that document.

This may or may not be helpful but in the past I have downloaded files from my professor's site and would occasionally be asked for the username/password and would let me download when I hit escape but I think it only happened when I was using the school's computers, not at home. Does it have anything to do with the OS? I'm on Mac OSX and it downloaded fine. Or does it have to do with you being on a network?

Just tried on my Windows ( 98 ) and in IE it just opened the document in the browser, it didn't download anything.

If you're getting the prompt when you download, it doesn't seem like it would be an issue with your Word setup since the file hasn't even been downloaded yet. Unless, like IE, it's trying to open the file rather than download it?

Hi All
I am having a blog on Blogger.And the problem is. it is not indexed in Google.
I heared Google is almost indexing blogger weekly.
Please suggest me what to do get it indexed in Google.
