Ever Buy Pop Ups or Pop Unders? - Webmaster Forum

Has anyone ever bought pop-up or pop-under ads? How was the return on it? I would think becuase so many people have pop-up blockers these days, it wouldn't really be a good way to advertise. Most people hate them anyway.

Popups/unders are a waste of money imho.

What happens when you get a popup? You get annoyed and close it, right?

I would agree. I've never even considered buying pop-up or pop-under advertisements. Especially with many people using Firefox and other browsers that have built in blockers, many advertisements would not even be exposed.

And those users that do not have blockers and see the advertisements will usually close it without reading it because they hate pop-ups and pop-unders.

Exactly, only annoying car or gambling or those Get Rich Online ads are shown.. for me yes. And most p eople have popup blockers.
