Default Title tags on image and text links
I read some articles and ebooks of how people do this for Search Engine Optimization, placing <img alt="xbox 360" title="xbox 360" src=...> for the link of an image file.

Does it have any advantage?

alt tag is an important tag into Search Engine Optimization process...search engines give more advantage for alt tag key words..
