Default Which design software do you use??

Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.

Which software??

The most common is Photoshop. I think it's the best in the industry.
Currently I'm using Photoshop 7, but I want to buy Photoshop CS. I heard it's good!!

I use either Photoshop 6, Photoshop 7, or The GIMP.

Even though I've used CS in the past, I still prefer Photoshop 6 or 7 for all my important work.

GIMP is the open source image editing software package that comes with most of the popular Linux Distros, it is also rated very highly and some people even say that it is comparable to PS in its functionality

Exactly. It's almost as good, if not as good, as Photoshop, and is free and open source.

If interested, I would check out [ http://gimp.org ]. It is really a great program and anyone that has used Photoshop should have no problem using GIMP.

yes and you can also download a version for Windows from gimp.org, so Linux is not necessary for trying out GIMP
