1. Submit you site to directories
You can get a lot of backlinks an traffic, if you add your site to web directories. List of directories you can find HERE.

2. Write articles
You can write articles and submit them into enzine services, like GoArticles.com.

3. Forums
Write a lot on forums and have link to your site in your signature.

If you do that, your Page Ranking will be at min. 3.

Can you tell me how you calculate this.

In my experience, it was not too difficult to get my first websites Page Ranking to 3. I did it by putting my link in MAYBE 10 directories and doing link exchanges. The secret is getting it higher and keeping it up there. I think keeping it high is a lot harder to do.

But you have very good tips!
